Linde Engineering North America LLCSenior Engineer Static EquipmentThe Woodlands, Texas, United States|req17659What you will enjoy doing* (DUTIES)Responsible for engineering, procurement, and execution of static equipment for (V)PSA, TSA, and Membrane Units. Support the project management and participate in internal, supplier, or customer meetings. Prepare inquiry documents, such as list of attachments, technical specifications, VDDR followed by a technical clarification of the offers, and order of equipment. Responsible for supplier management, including clarification meetings and review of supplier documents. Expedite and inspect equipment at the workshops of global manufacturers to ensure quality and delivery in time. Participate in and/or lead product management/optimization focused R&D projects related to static equipment. Telecommuting permitted within a commutable distance.What Makes You Great (REQTS)Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Concept, basic, and detailed engineering of static equipment in critical services such as pressure/temperature cyclic service and H2 service for Adsorption and Membrane plants; Preparing technical specifications and drawings of static equipment/components using AutoCAD; Manage execution, conduct technical clarifications, expediting and inspections of static equipment for multiple projects and equipment with global equipment suppliers; Leverage knowledge in the field of adsorption and membrane process technology for R&D product optimization projects; Performing design, analyses and optimization of equipment internals and other components utilizing Solidworks, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analyses); Possess working knowledge of international design codes and standards such as ASME, PED, TR CU, TSG, and CSA for design, engineering, and execution of static equipment; Perform material selection for pressure vessels and piping in Adsorption and Membrane plants.LGG 15TRAVEL: Up to 20% domestic and international travel to Linde offices.HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hours per week)Why you will love working with usLinde Engineering Americas (LEA) is a member of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc.
