Job Title Fleet ManagerJob Post SummarySeeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee companywide fleet operations, maintenance strategy, safety compliance, and vehicle performance across multiple branch locations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience managing large scale fleet operations, coordinating maintenance teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing fleet efficiency, and driving continuous operational improvements in a fast paced environment.Job Roles and Responsibilities• Lead and manage companywide fleet operations, maintenance strategy, and standardized fleet policies across all locations• Oversee fleet maintenance teams and provide direction, accountability, and operational support• Reallocate maintenance resources, personnel, and priorities based on operational demands and emergency situations• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance procedures, inspection programs, and fleet safety standards• Ensure fleet compliance with DOT regulations, federal and state transportation laws, and internal safety policies• Collaborate with leadership teams and branch managers to align fleet operations with organizational goals• Utilize fleet management systems and analytics tools to monitor fleet performance and improve operational efficiency• Manage fleet parts procurement, inventory control, and vendor relationships to minimize downtime• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate fleet personnel across multiple locations• Establish and track KPIs related to fleet utilization, maintenance efficiency, vehicle uptime, and operational costs• Coordinate emergency repairs, breakdown response, and operational recovery efforts• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection documentation, compliance reports, and audit ready filesQualifications and Certifications• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Fleet Management, Automotive Technology, or related field preferred• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered• 5+ years of progressive fleet management experience required• Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi location or enterprise level fleet operations• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline vehicle maintenance• Experience with DOT compliance, fleet safety standards, and transportation regulations• Proven leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams• Proficiency with fleet management software and reporting systems• Strong budgeting, cost control, and vendor management experience• Valid driver's license required• CDL preferred• Ability to travel between branch locations as neededBenefits• Health insurance• Dental insurance• Vision insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Retirement savings plan
