We specialize in direct primary care, functional and integrative medicine, hormone balancing, regenerative medicine, advanced aesthetics, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, personalized IV nutrition therapy, and more.The opportunityEssential Health – Cary is seeking a part-time social media manager to help elevate our mission, build brand awareness in the Cary, North Carolina community, and connect our advanced services to patients in need of a more personalized approach to healthcare. PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION BEGINS JULY 1, 2026. In this role, you will work both independently and alongside our team of providers onsite to generate high-value, informative, and engaging content weekly.This is a perfect part-time, flexible opportunity for a social media marketing enthusiast interested in cutting-edge medicine and health communications. Working with us will grant you the chance to learn from our highly trained medical professionals and gain valuable experience utilizing social media to expand our impact. This role has the potential for future growth executing on additional traditional marketing, communications, and patient/community engagement needs.Primary responsibilities Create and execute a strategic social media marketing plan for Essential Health – Cary’s Instagram and Facebook accounts to encourage new patient conversions and community engagement.Curate and prepare content for static posts, reels, and stories, scheduling with staff members to generate high-value content when needed.Weave our brand and company voice through imagery and messaging, speaking to both established audiences and prospective clients.Identify opportunities for local B2B collaboration and influencer campaigns.Commit to being onsite a few hours per week to gather content including high-quality images and short-form videos, ideally with a professional camera or late model phone camera. The remainder of work outside of capturing content may be completed remotely.Report monthly to Essential Health leadership on tangible metrics, including account growth, engagement rates, and other notable performance indicators.Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience planning and executing high-impact social media marketing, preferably for a high-end wellness brand or medical setting.Skilled in scientific writing and/or health communications or willing to learn quickly.Creative self-starter with the ability to work independently and with teams.Experience within a healthcare start-up or small business environment is preferred.Must be located in commutable distance to Cary, North Carolina, United StatesTermsThis role is on a monthly contract basis, not to exceed 20 hours/month.
