Position Overview We are currently seeking a caring and energetic Assistant Teacher for our two-year-old classroom. We are looking for an assistant teacher with availability Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Responsibilities · Work alongside the Lead Teacher to carry out various classroom responsibilities · Maintain a healthy, clean, and safe environment · Assess developmental needs of children · Assist with the implementation of TLE curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child · Communicate positively with children, staff, and parents Required Qualifications Requirements for Assistant Teacher: Minimum two years of experience in an Early Childhood setting Previously fingerprinted by DOI Updated and valid physical examination record (within past two years) At least 21 years of age High school diploma Desired Qualifications · CDA, Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred OR · Enrolled in an in Early Childhood Education degree program Plan of Study · Mandated Reporter training (within past two years) · Infection Control training certificate · Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Prevention training certificate · Shaken Baby Prevention training certificate · Foundations of Health and Safety training certificate Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Childcare: 2 years (Required) Teaching: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
