Hostess/Cashier

Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Seat guests and manage the waitlist efficiently - Provide accurate wait times and monitor the dining room flow - Answer phone calls and assist with reservations - Take food and beverage orders from guests - Enter orders into the POS system (Aloha POS) accurately - Process payments and provide change to guests - Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Experience: - Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or food service industry preferred - Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within our organization.
