Subsystems Stress Analyst
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.US Citizenship Required. The successful candidate will be able to perform stress analysis on new and revised designs for routing of wire harnesses, hydraulic tubing, and coolant lines within the F-35 airframe. Responsible for static strength assessment of brackets, clamps, shelves, pressurized tubes, and welded tubes. Evaluation of deflection for routed tubes to guarantee isolation of systems from surrounding structure and other systems.What You Will Be Doing• You will work directly with designers to convey requirements and to verify compliant products.• You will use classical engineering analysis, automated versions of analytical tools, and Finite Element Analysis using Hypermesh, Nastran, and PatranBasic QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering MechanicsExperience in Stress Analysis of Subsystems and RoutingExperience in developing, running, and working with Finite Element Models: Hypermesh, Nastran, and PatranExperience in a collaborative work environment and good interpersonal skills for conversing with teammatesDesired skills :Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word,and PowerPointExcel spreadsheet mathematical calculations and macro coding highly desiredFamiliarity with Catia, 3DX, TMP Vision, Mathcad
