Circuit Design and Documentation Technician

Plan, design, implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and support local and wide area networks (LA - Ns/ WA - Ns) in the areas of Internet connectivity, capacity planning, routing, switching, server load balancing, network security, and wireless. Collaborate with engineers, IT specialists, and project managers to ensure that circuit designs meet project specifications and functional requirements ensuring accurate documentation of cabling infrastructure and enterprise networks. Supporting installation teams by providing comprehensive run lists and cabling plans. Creating circuit documentation in support of customer funded projects. Building inventories and maintaining accurate information as it pertains to network components, circuits, routers, switches, racks, etc. Local travel may be required between customer buildings or temporary assignment to an alternate location in support of special projects.
