Software Engineer III – Java / React Developer

Replacing a Software Engineer III who worked primarily in Java and also supported React-based UI development ? The departing engineer was proactive and interested in application architecture ? The manager values engineers who take initiative and collaborate effectively Team Structure & Work Environment Team structure: ? Manager oversees two development teams: Spark and Apollo ? Six direct reports before the recent departures/transfers ? Three of those six employees have left or are transitioning out ? A separate QA function supports the development organization ? The broader organization also includes operations and architecture resources Culture and soft skills: This manager places significant emphasis on personality and collaboration. He would rather hire someone with solid technical fundamentals who is teachable, adaptable, and collaborative than an exceptionally technical candidate who struggles to work with others.
