This position exists to supervise the Family Child Care Licensing unit, including directing policy adherence, technical assistance, ongoing engagement with child care licensors and providers for implementation, compliance and monitoring, technology implementation, communication, data analysis, state and federal reporting and more. This position oversees a team of licensing consultants who provide oversight, training and technical assistance to county childcare licensors towards the goal of consistency in the work of county family child care licensing statewide. This position directs their team in the implementation of family child care licensing statutes, rules, and procedures, ensuring that state and federal laws and rules are met. The supervisor advises legislative development planning and represents the unit or department, as needed.Responsibilities include:Supervise staff in accordance with labor agreements to direct the work of others and ensure high levels of productivity, dedication to quality output, and job satisfaction are fostered and maintained. Oversee and conduct all human resources matters for the staff supervised. Ensure strong communication and working relationships across and among the groups supported. Manage the workflow and output of the unit.
