Chief Technologist, Advanced Antenna Development
Position SummaryA leading defense and surveillance technology organization is seeking an expert in next generation Antenna technology development to fill the role of Chief Technologist, Advanced Antenna Development for the Surveillance Systems business area. Reporting to the head of the division, this leadership role will be responsible for the development and integration of strategic technical roadmaps utilizing advanced Antenna technologies. Key responsibilities include:Develop and execute a vision and strategy to advance Saab’s Antenna technology development across the U.S. business.Collaborate with Senior Leadership to define technological priorities and investment strategies.Support the design, development, and deployment of innovative radar technologies and key pursuitsDevelop complex radar and antenna product applications and drive lifecycle product management throughout the organizationPartner with Engineering Leadership to drive the division’s R&D efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.Maintain a strong executive-level network, reputation, and customer access across the radar market.Establish and maintain the technical thought leadership of the company in the relevant market community and stakeholder base.Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.Required Skills and Experience:Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
