Machine Feeder/Catcher

Job Description: Machine Feeder/Catcher Cavalier Packaging is a manufacturer of packaging for a variety of industries (automotive, pet care, pharmaceutical, beverage…). The Feeder-Catcher is a key player in ensuring the continuous flow of production, allowing our team to meet production goals and exceed customer expectations. What we are looking for: · Experience working in a manufacturing environment. · The ability to work well with others and independently. · High attention to detail. Feeder responsibilities: Continuously feed unfolded/unglued cartons from loaded pallets into folding/gluing machines. Check cartons for printing or positioning mistakes as handfuls are fed into machine. Observing the machine for malfunctions and stopping machinery when problems occur. Ensure quality inspections are performed and recorded on appropriate paperwork. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Catcher responsibilities: Remove folded/glued cartons from the end of the line and pack them into cases. Inspect cartons for quality, ensuring there is no printing, positioning, or gluing mistakes. Confirm the correct case count is being packed and apply labels to each case. Ensure quality inspections are performed and recorded on appropriate paperwork. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Physical Requirements: Standing for an extended period of time. Repetitive movements. Regularly lifting up to 35lbs. Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
