Plainfield Tower is a Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Community. We are seeking an Executive Director In Training to join our team. Under the training and mentoring of the Senior Executive Director, become acquainted with this area of work to be responsible for ensuring that the community meet and exceed the standards set forth by Springpoint, the Communities' Board of Directors, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency.Responsibilities:Responsible for program compliance rules and obligations as outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, New Jersey Housing Mortgage and Finance Agency, Department of Community Affairs, Investors, and Springpoint.Administer to program changes in a timely manner.Remain current with training and certifications.Conduct tenant meetings on a regularly scheduled basis as required.Forecast the operational and capital needs of the community.Prepare the operating budget. Provide input to the management staff, and budget analyst in budget preparation, analysis, and adjustments.Monitor and control all expenses through financial analysis of reports to ensure budgetary compliance is always maintained.Ensure occupancy levels meet or exceed expectations.Represent Springpoint and the communities in a professional manner when attending programs, training or continuing education.Facilitate and guide in all areas of hiring, staffing, performance and termination.Understand employment laws and regulations.Promote effective staff development and recognize employees when applicable.Lead staff meetings and attend scheduled management meetings, board meetings and other internal and external meetings.Promote participation in employment satisfaction surveys.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Five years' experience in the management of daily operation of customer service or related field.Certified Professional of Occupancy certification or equivalent experienceComprehensive Benefits Package (Full Time):Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx PlansPaid Time Off and Holidays401(k) with Company Match (Once Eligible)Life & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsVoluntary Benefits: Daily PayEmployee & Resident Bonus Referral ProgramsEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness & Wellbeing ProgramsTuition ReimbursementProfessional Development and Career OpportunitiesPay Range: $60-65 / hourEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
