This internship is intended to complement the intern’s academic coursework and must be completed for academic credit through an accredited college or university.This experience is educational in nature and will focus on observation, guided learning, research, and project-based assignments. The intern will not replace or displace paid employees and will not be responsible for performing essential operational duties.This is an unpaid internship and is designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities aligned with academic objectives.Educational ObjectivesBy The End Of The Internship, The Intern WillUnderstand the employee lifecycle within a hospitality organizationGain exposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operationsObserve how HR policies and compliance requirements are applied in practiceDevelop professional communication and project research skillsComplete a capstone project related to a People & Culture initiativeInternship StructureDuration: 8–12 weeksSchedule will accommodate academic commitmentsAcademic credit required and documentation must be providedNo guarantee or expectation of future employmentLearning ActivitiesObservation & ShadowingShadow members of the People & Culture team in meetings and operational discussionsObserve recruiting coordination and onboarding processesAttend team meetings to understand cross-functional collaborationResearch & ProjectsConduct research on HR best practices within hospitalityAssist in developing recommendations for employee engagement initiativesSupport development of training or onboarding materials (non-essential support)Complete a final presentation summarizing learning outcomesProfessional DevelopmentParticipate in feedback sessions with a designated mentorReceive coaching on HR career paths and professional growthReflect on learning progress throughout the internshipQualificationsCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or universityPursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Hospitality, or related fieldMust receive academic credit for internshipStrong interest in pursuing a career in HR or People OperationsProfessional communication skills and strong curiosityCompliance StatementThis unpaid internship is structured to meet educational objectives and is intended primarily for the benefit of the intern.
