Assembly TechnicianWe are hiring a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on assembling products according to specifications, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow. Ideal candidates are dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working both independently and on a team. Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble products accurately and efficiently following prescribed methods and procedures Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and product specifications Verify all materials are properly identified before use Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment as required Complete tasks within established time standards Assist with quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances Identify and separate non-conforming materials and report issues promptly Operate a forklift to move and transport materials safely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process abnormalities Follow all company safety and quality standards Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes Take ownership of assigned production tasks and output quality QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required 3 years of general assembly experience preferred Valid driver's license required Must live within a 50-mile radius of the work location Experience with hand tools, power tools, and forklifts preferred Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurement) Basic writing and documentation skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for 810 hours per shift Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching Comfortable working with tools and wearing a tool belt Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work near moving mechanical parts Work EnvironmentManufacturing/production setting Exposure to dust, fumes, vibration, and occasional outdoor conditions Fast-paced, hands-on environment
