At IFF, your potential is our inspiration.Where You’ll Make a DifferenceProvide specialized technical and scientific support for enzyme and yeast applications in customer environmentsCollaborate with sales teams during customer meetings, trainings, and onsite visitsServe as an internal technical expert on assigned product lines, applications, and limitationsConduct routine plant visits to perform process audits, lab analysis, and performance optimizationAnalyze process and laboratory data to identify improvement opportunities and make recommendationsDevelop tools or models to enhance data analysis and technical decision‑makingDeliver customer training on product selection, application, and optimizationProvide post‑sale technical troubleshooting during product testing and implementationSupport account planning and identify business development opportunities from a technical and commercial perspectiveWhat Makes You the Right FitBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related)3–4 years of experience in an industrial biotechnology environment (enzymes, food, fuel alcohol, or similar)Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret technical dataProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with JMP or other statistical software preferredCustomer‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building skillsSelf‑motivated and results‑oriented, able to work independentlyStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environmentAbility to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, and R&DWillingness to travel 50% or moreHow Would You Stand Out?Hands‑on experience supporting fermentation or enzyme‑driven industrial processesPrior success in a customer‑facing technical or application support roleAbility to translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable customer recommendationsWhy Choose Us?Training opportunitiesLearning and development programs from day oneOur benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, holidays, 16 weeks paid parental leave (maternity and paternity) and an annual bonus plan.We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
