Energy Management Technician

Job description:Syntergy EMS (Energy Management Solutions) is a unique company looking for a new team member to join our exciting team!We are currently looking for an individual for full-time employment in and around the Baton Rouge, LA area.As a company, we strive to help our clients to manage their facilities and operate them as efficiently as possible, with a service aspect to it.The majority of our work is HVAC related. A desire to understand these types of systems is a must.The individual that we are looking for will be trained on how to manage Commercial and Industrial HVAC System operations with a focus on Energy Management using Building Automation Systems.This individual will also be trained on how to interact with clients, troubleshoot systems, and verify the energy savings impact in regards to our work.Essential Skills:Mechanically/Electrically inclined, propensity for computer manipulations, and motivated to continue learning through real-world applications and evolving building technologies.Responsibilities may include:Troubleshooting issues with systems both remotely and on-siteInstallation of new controls systemsCommissioning and verifying systemsSpreadsheet data entry of energy savings using energy consumption dataScheduling of existing systems based on occupancy schedulesQualifications:Experience in the HVAC or electrical industry, or similar job skillsReliable transportation when working in the fieldReliable internet when working remotelyWillingness to travel to varying job-sites in the area, and sometimes a bit further out to help other marketsStrong written, verbal and collaboration skills
