Cornell Pump Company is a trusted U.S. manufacturer of industrial pumps and systems, serving critical infrastructure and industrial markets worldwide.This position is employed by Cornell Pump Company and works in support of Dynamatic, a Cornell Pump subsidiary with more than 90 years of proven performance delivering high-quality, customized variable-speed solutions to Fortune 100 and 500 customers across industries such as metal stamping, extrusion, test stands, pulp & paper, and more.If you thrive in relationship-driven, consultative sales, enjoy being in front of customers, and want to sell engineered solutions that truly move the needle, this role was built for you.About the role:We are seeking a Key Account Manager who knows how to grow revenue by becoming a trusted advisor to their customers.In this role, you'll take ownership of key industrial accounts while identifying and closing new opportunities for new, replacement, and rebuilt equipment. You'll work directly with plant managers, engineers, and decision-makers to solve real operational challenges using Dynamatic's differentiated technology.Annual Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (DOE)Location: Remote, Southern US TerritoryTravel: Approximately 3 weeks per month (customer-facing, relationship-building travel)What you will do:Drive sales and revenue growth within assigned industrial accountsDevelop deep knowledge of Dynamatic products and applicationsTravel to customer sites to discuss equipment performance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgradesIdentify, qualify, and close new sales opportunitiesPrepare and present quotes, proposals, and customer presentationsMaintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM systemProactively follow up on quotes and customer opportunitiesAddress customer inquiries related to sales, service, technical applications, warranties, and returnsCollaborate on marketing strategies and identify new market opportunitiesWhat we are looking for:Proven success selling capital equipment in a consultative sales environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand industrial applicationsComfortable owning a territory, managing priorities, and working independentlyConfident handling both technical and business objectionsOrganized, disciplined, and proactive in follow-up and executionHigh ethical standards and a strong customer-first mindsetDemonstrated experience prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing dealsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant sales experience.Preferred experience:Variable speed drive technologies (VFDs, eddy current drives/brakes, servos, motors)Rotating equipment, plant operations, or consulting engineering exposureExperience selling into industries such as metal stamping or municipal water/wastewaterBackground working directly with plant-level and engineering stakeholdersWe offer many company benefits:Competitive PTO and 10 paid holidays401(k) with 3% employer contribution and immediate vesting, plus additional matchingMedical (PPO & HDHP with HSA), dental, and vision plansTwo weeks of paid parental leaveCompany-paid life insurance, AD&D, short- and long-term disabilityPet insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)We value long-term relationships, with our customers and with our people, and we trust our sales team to operate with autonomy, integrity, and accountability.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
