Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Logistics Technician to support daily warehouse and inventory operations for advanced electronic materials. This role ensures materials, supplies, and equipment are properly received, stored, labeled, secured, and available to authorized teams when needed. The Senior Logistics Technician may act as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisor.The ideal candidate has strong hands-on warehouse experience, advanced inventory control skills, and the ability to work independently within established procedures. This position may also help coordinate the work of others, while supporting accurate physical counts, shipment verification, material movement, and safe use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and storage systems.This role is well suited for someone organized, reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a technical logistics/Warehouse environment. Someone that has a specialized level of skill related to assigned tasks and works autonomously within established procedures and practices.Position InformationThe Senior Site Logistics Technician is a Monday – Friday position. The shift is 8.5 hours (8 hours paid with 30 minutes unpaid lunch). The shift begins at 7am. Any hours worked over 40 are paid at time and a half. Occasionally working late and working a weekend shift is required for special shipping and receiving needs.ResponsibilitiesConducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.Performs warehouse operations duties including moving, storing, labeling, supplies, and equipment.Ensure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.Uses equipment such as forklifts, storage equipment to move and store materials. Maintain a safe working environment, participate in all required safety programs, training, and activities.Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.Receive direction from area leads/supervisor and complete assigned tasks.Interact with work process systems such as SAP to conduct shipping and receiving tasks.Maintain stocking levels through inventory control and ordering of suppliesSkill RequirementsMinimum of 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environmentExperience with SAP is considered an assetMinimum of a High School Diploma/GEDAbility to operate a forkliftStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentExceptional Attention to DetailPhysical RequirementsLight to moderate physical effort is required.Lifting required occasionally of up to 50 pounds.Bending, pushing and pulling required on a daily basis.Ability to occasionally work at table level and/or overhead level as necessary.Required to wear appropriate PPE. Required to work in a RESTRICTED Electrical Classified Area for use of flammable and combustible materials.
