Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab - Maintenance AssistantWoodland Manor Nursing and Rehab | Elkhart, INWoodland Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for our skilled nursing facility in Elkhart, IN .The Maintenance Assistant performs a variety of maintenance, light cleaning, and organizational duties to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.Pay Rate: $18.00 per hourShift Available Part-Time – Approximately 25 hours per weekResponsibilities Maintain facility by repairing walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows , and removing trashMove furniture as needed to complete assignmentsCoordinate daily maintenance services with nursing staff when working in resident care areasAssist with terminal cleaning of resident rooms upon transfer, discharge, or deathFollow maintenance schedules and supervisor instructions in accordance with facility policiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering, and mechanical workMaintain grounds, parking areas, and walkways through cutting, trimming, sweeping, and general upkeepReplace burned-out light bulbs, including exit and overhead lightingSupport the Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure proper operation of equipment and systemsParticipate in on-call rotation as scheduled, including weekends and holidaysRespond to unscheduled or emergency maintenance tasks as neededQualifications Previous experience in maintenance, cleaning, or related fields preferredFamiliarity with cleaning materials, tools, and maintenance equipmentBenefits We strive to provide our employees with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package , including:Medical and Prescription Drug CoverageDental and Vision CareTelemedicine ProgramCompany-Paid Group Life InsuranceVoluntary Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability401(k) Savings PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Commuter BenefitsPlanned Time Off (vacation, personal, sick, and state sick leave)Benefits, as well as bonuses and variable compensation plans, are based on applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service
