Dental Front Office + Treatment Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Front Office and Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and coordinating patient care in our dental office. Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.
Duties:
Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with patients and dental providers
Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details
Assist with treatment plan presentations, explaining procedures, costs, and payment options to patients
Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Handle billing and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
Manage the front desk area, including answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and handling patient concerns or complaints
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care
Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience with medical administrative support or dental receptionist duties preferred
Proficient in using administrative systems and software (e.g. OpenDental)
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
