Civil Drafter Job SummaryWe are seeking a Civil Drafter to join our engineering team supporting utility and infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest. This role involves preparing plan and profile drawings for road and utility projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and prepare detailed project drawings during planning and design phasesWork closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Technicians to deliver drawings on schedulePrepare permit drawing sets including plans, elevations, sections, details, and notesUnderstand and apply AutoCAD requirements for different clients and project needsPerform QA/QC on drawing files to ensure accuracy and complianceCoordinate project deadlines with Project Managers, Engineers, and DesignersPerform other duties as assigned by the Project ManagerQualificationsAssociate's degree in AutoCAD drafting or equivalent work experience1-5 years of AutoCAD experienceCivil 3D experience preferredMDOT and MicroStation experience is a plusFamiliarity with industry practices, regulations, and technical standardsProficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, and OutlookStrong technical, written, and oral communication skillsWork EnvironmentPrimarily office-based with opportunities for fieldwork as neededAbility to interpret sketches, drawings, building programs, and related materialsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% employer-paid for employees and eligible dependents after 90 days)401(k) plan with up to 4% employer match, fully vested from day one (eligible after 6 months)Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverageVoluntary benefits including Accident, Critical Illness, Short-Term Disability, HFSA, DCA, Life, and AD&DPaid holidays and PTO starting after 90 days, with additional accrual over timeEmployee Assistance Program offering counseling, coaching, and financial resources Linked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
