Echocardiology TechnologistCaldwell Medical Center - PRINCETON, KY 42445 OverviewJob Shift: Day DescriptionJOB TITLE: Echocardiology Technologist DEPARTMENT: Radiology REPORTS TO: Cardiopulmonary Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic medical echocardiography procedures as ordered and according to protocols of the cardiologist. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Explain procedure to patient and position patient according to protocol for best possible imaging. Competently perform echocardiography procedures according to cardiologist protocol. Administer applicable contrast media according to cardiologist protocol. Review studies for overall quality Organize daily work schedule for minimal wait times. Transmit imaging to cardiologist for interpretation through established secure connection. Interact professionally with patients, colleagues and other co-workers to efficiently complete daily tasks. Participate in continuing education activities as required by Caldwell Medical Center. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION Registered in echocardiography from an accredited school MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 1-2 YEARS PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 1-2 YEARS
