100% Remote .Net Core Developer X2The team of 15 developers (about 1⁄2 contract and 1⁄2 FTE) are 8 months into a 2 year project to modernize a large sales and renewal administration application. The current technology is a service-oriented architecture with a classic asp front end and a collection of 70 .NET 4.7.2 windows services (the service layer) backed by a SQL server. The new system will comprise:Font-end: A MVC Razor.NET Core 6 application.Service Layer: Containerized.NET 6 Core WebApi services.Key Non-Technical Skills:Problem Solving: This position requires a candidate with excellent problem solving skills.Breadth: This position will require someone with the ability/willingness to dive into:Legacy CodeBusiness DomainModern Code stack.Initiative: We need an associate who will actively engage. This isn't a ticket taker role. Consultant will be expected to match requirements against both the legacy stack and business area understanding. We need someone who asks questions and engages.Communication: This is a remote position. This position also requires a candidate who can actively listen and ask probing questions.
