Consultant I

Jefferson is seeking a Senior Consultant I to support The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM) and the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA's) Office of Transportation Program Management (TPM).The Consultant I provides professional support for CCAM and TPM program management activities, assisting with research, analysis, documentation, and development of deliverables that support transportation coordination, program oversight, and technical assistance efforts. Conducts activities including process improvement, strategic analysis and organization management, and systems improvement.This role will be hybrid with the preponderance of the work being performed off-site and with some activities requiring on-site performance at FTA Headquarters, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20590.This position is being posted in preparation for a proposal and is not yet funded. Join us at Jefferson, where your career becomes a journey of continuous advancement, and your talents find the platform they deserve.Responsibilities:Assist with research, data collection, and analysis related to CCAM operations, TPM programs, and transportation coordination initiatives.Support preparation of draft deliverables, including reports, briefing materials, fact sheets, meeting summaries, presentations, and resource updates.Provide logistical and documentation support for meetings, working sessions, and listening sessions, including agenda development, note-taking, and action item tracking.Assist with updates to web-based resources, SharePoint sites, trackers, and inventories under supervision.Support TPM grant lifecycle and operations tasks, including process documentation, compliance support, and internal coordination activities.Apply established processes and templates to ensure deliverables meet quality, branding, and Section 508 requirements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.A minimum of 1 year of experience in business consulting, process improvement, strategy, or related field.
