Mold Technician

Duties: Keep Front Line Leader informed of any abnormalities in the production flow Inform Coordinators of any defects found in a timely manner Monitor production quality to standards Inspection of part appearance according to product standards Evaluates daily the past 24 hours of production scrap and identifies root causes. If applicable, may provide corrective action initiatives Assists in maintaining mold processes per process specifications Assists in ensuring that tools and equipment are ready for production Assists in ensuring accurate direct material usage in area of responsibility Lean manufacturing practices Interfaces with Engineering and manufacturing for successful trial interaction Identify maintenance issues and ensure timely and effective countermeasures Ensure that pre-production and post run-offs are complete and well documented Perform preventative maintenance when necessary Attend all required meetings and training when scheduled Maintain a safe and clean work area Must be knowledgeable in required personal protective equipment Must be a team player Must follow proper procedures outlined in PLEX System and navigate through PLEX Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Previous experience in a technician or manufacturing role is preferred but not required. - Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. - Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
