Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work variable 3x12 shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week • Alternating weekend schedule required • Clinical Decision Unit position coordinating and implementing nursing care in medical-surgical setting • Process high volume of admissions for typical ER observation and admission patients • Patient ratios of 1:4-6 on an 8-bed unit • Float requirements include customary floating to any inpatient unit • Minimum 1 year of experience required with strong Med Surg background • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred • EPIC EMR system experience highly preferred • Must be a team player willing to help with pleasant and caring attitude towards patient outcomes • Black scrubs required • Flu vaccination required for all travelers (exemption must be client approved) • No call requirements Facility: This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center offering comprehensive medical services.
