Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role based in Baltimore, MD, for a Collections Specialist. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and resolving overdue accounts through professional communication with clients, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key daily tasks include assessing overdue payments, negotiating repayment plans, updating account information, and collaborating with internal teams to identify and resolve discrepancies. The role supports financial operations by ensuring consistent cash flow and compliance with company policies. Qualifications Strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with the ability to effectively manage and recover overdue payments.Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation, with the ability to professionally interact with clients and resolve issues diplomatically.Basic knowledge of Finance and ability to accurately maintain financial records.Proficiency in handling data entry and familiarity with collections software or similar tools.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in collections or a related role is preferred but not required.
