Machine Operator/Assembler

*Overview* As a Machine Operator/Assembler, you’ll operate and monitor manufacturing equipment while assembling parts to meet production and quality requirements. You’ll work with materials, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments, following safety protocols and production instructions. Your impact: Accurate machine operation and assembly help deliver reliable products and keep work moving safely through manufacturing. *Duties*

• Set up, operate, and monitor equipment, which may include computer numerical control (CNC) machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and plastics blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion equipment.
• Assemble components using hand tools; handle materials and support production and warehouse activities, including forklift operation when qualified.
• Inspect products and record dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments to support quality control.
• Apply basic math, mechanical knowledge, and machining skills to identify issues and assist with engineering or industrial equipment troubleshooting.
• Follow safety protocols and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems as assigned.

*Experience*

• Required: Machine operation, assembly, manufacturing, basic math, mechanical knowledge, safety protocol adherence, and quality inspection experience or demonstrated ability.
• Preferred: Plastics production experience, including blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion; machining and precision measurement experience.
• Familiarity with CNC equipment, CNC lathes, press brake machines, PLCs, and robotic systems is an asset.
• Forklift experience, materials handling, warehouse experience, and use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments are helpful.
