Call Center RepresentativePride Health is seeking a Call Center Representative for one of its clients in Newark, NJ.Location: Newark Area (Fully Remote – Must be within commuting distance)Duration: 6-Month ContractSchedule: 10-Hour Day ShiftsEquipment: ProvidedJob SummaryThe Advocate I is responsible for supporting inbound and outbound operations within a fast-paced healthcare support hub. This role focuses on call management, appointment scheduling, authorization processing, participant support, and administrative coordination while delivering outstanding customer service to participants, families, providers, and internal teams.The ideal candidate will be comfortable multitasking in a participant-centered environment and maintaining accurate documentation across multiple systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer inbound calls, emails, and support requests in a timely and professional mannerSchedule participant appointments and coordinate with providers, staff, and familiesProcess authorizations and respond to inquiries regarding status and eligibilityMaintain accurate documentation and update participant/provider information in internal systemsConduct appointment confirmations and reminder callsResolve basic issues and escalate concerns appropriatelyEnsure compliance with departmental documentation and scheduling protocolsProvide exceptional customer service in all written and verbal interactionsMaintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and proceduresCollaborate with supervisors and team members regarding workload and prioritiesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service/support environmentStrong data entry and multitasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote settingComfortable working in a fast-paced environment
