Senior Field Service EngineerPlain States / Gulf Coast / North CarolinaVRS is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer or Technician based in North Carolina or a variety of Central US states. The successful candidate will join a service team responsible for the maintenance and repair of scientific instrumentation at a variety of laboratories.Primary Responsibilities:Preventative maintenance and repair of lab instrumentation & equipment; mainly mechanical troubleshooting with some electrical and software.Communicate calmly/effectively with customers and provide professional service within required response times.Manage schedule and travel logistics across your territory (mid-South).Candidate Qualifications:Prior Mechanical and Electrical field service experience is required.Practical, logical, and calm approach to troubleshooting.Ability to learn new technology and software quickly.Excellent communication skills; patience with customers.Flexibility to travel 60% overnight.
