We partner with broadband and utility clients to plan, design, and implement advanced communications networks that connect communities and drive economic growth.Position SummaryThe Broadband Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of broadband infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages schedules and budgets, and serves as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure successful deployment of fiber and broadband network solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple broadband and fiber deployment projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budgetServe as the primary liaison between clients, engineering teams, contractors, and internal stakeholdersDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocationsCoordinate permitting, easements, and regulatory compliance activitiesOversee design, construction, and implementation phases of broadband network projectsTrack project progress, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies as neededFacilitate project meetings, status reporting, and client communicationsEnsure documentation, records, and closeout packages are complete and accurateSupport procurement and contractor management activitiesEnsure adherence to safety standards and quality requirementsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience managing broadband, fiber, telecommunications, or utility infrastructure projectsDemonstrated experience with outside plant (OSP) design and construction processesStrong project scheduling and budgeting skillsExcellent client-facing communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Experience with rural broadband or grant-funded deployment programs (e.g., BEAD, RDOF)Knowledge of fiber network architecture (FTTH, middle mile, backhaul)Familiarity with permitting and right-of-way processesKey CompetenciesProject leadership and executionStakeholder managementRisk and issue managementFinancial and schedule controlTechnical understanding of broadband networksProblem-solving and decision-makingTravel RequirementsTravel up to 2540% depending on project location and phase.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers competitive pay and an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401(k), and more.Vantage Point Solutions was founded in 2002 by a team who believed in putting people both employees and clients first.
