Travel Superintendent

Job SummaryThe Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction teams and managing the daily operations of multiple sites in Virginia and surrounding states. This position will lead site supervision, ensure safety compliance, coordinate resources, manage materials and equipment, and maintain strong communication with clients and subcontractors. The role will play a critical part in the successful completion of major bridge rehabilitation and infrastructure projects in 2026 and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesWeekly planning and ability to prepare project schedulesSets goals for teams, tracks production and prepare daily diariesDaily communications with inspectorsMonitor current equipment and future needsManage material tracking and deliveriesManage site logisticsResponsible for the project QA/QC ProgramCoordinate subcontractors and maintain project progress and documentation.Supervise and monitor all daily work assignments of job site crews.Work effectively with Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Construction Managers.Communicate with clients regarding project updates and needs.Perform risk assessments and hazard identification.Ensure all project and company safety requirements are metProvide training and mentorship to team members.Requirement QualificationsA minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor, concrete contracting firm or concrete repairs company, with at least 5 years in a supervising roleProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong organizational and communication skills.Demonstrated experience in self-performing work is required.Must be willing to work from the project site up to 100% of the time and report to weekly and other periodic meetings being held at the Corporate Office.Must have a valid driver’s license and agree to MVR check to operate company vehicles or drive for business purposes.Willing to have flexible working hours.Candidates should possess a diverse portfolio of project types, with a particular emphasis on commercial and industrial projects.In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices is essential, along with experience managing projects valued at over $1 million.Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful outcomes for projects.Candidates must be willing to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule during project builds, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.High School Diploma or GED.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.Company Culture And BenefitsFreyssinet Inc is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
