Abacus Solutions Group is currently recruiting for an Accountant position that is located in Rosedale, MD.Responsibilities:Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial recordsPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processesPerform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activitiesReconcile bank and credit card accountsPrepare financial statements and internal reportsSupport budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsCoordinate with external CPA for tax filings and auditsAssist with process improvements and system enhancementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.3–5 years of accounting experienceStrong proficiency in Excel.Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skillsCompensation: $75K - $80K
