Telephone VOIP/SIP Technician

Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecom Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various technical tasks related to telephone and broadband installations. This includes mounting radios to roofs, drilling holes in exterior and interior walls, installing and programming routers. Most all telephone installs are VOIP. Computer networking is a plus. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development. Responsibilities: - Professionally perform telecommunication installs including radios, routers and telephones -Professionally install and terminate OLT/ONT fiber optic customer side installs - Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues - Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements - Install and test Ethernet and telephone cables - Provide technical support to customers and resolve the customers service-related issues - Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction - Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working Requirements: - Strong technical knowledge and aptitude for technical work - Previous experience in telecommunication installations is highly preferred - Basic skills in telecommunications (VOIP) concepts and protocols - Familiarity with Ethernet standards and configurations - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues - Basic Knowledge of electrical principles and wiring techniques - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internships.
