Customer Service Sales Specialist (Indianapolis)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Enter and maintain quotes in our ERP and filing systemsEnsure quotes are accurate and completed in a timely mannerUse product knowledge to inform independent sales representatives of pricing, lead times and any additional information neededResponsible for handling product inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives for customers and independent sales representativesProvide technical product support for independent sales representativesUse Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat to create and update documentsProvide support to other departments and individuals as neededOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLSProficient in Outlook, Adobe, ExcelExperience working in a technical or industrial organization, providing customer service and inside sales supportPlumbing experience/background a plus but not requiredAbility to provide excellent customer service in person and phone interactionsStrong attention to detailAbility to problem solveAbility to adjust priorities and multitask as neededWork efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlinesEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GEDMust possess experience in customer service/inside salesProficient in Microsoft office productsERP software experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Office EnvironmentConstant sittingOccasional walking, bending, stooping and lifting up to 25 lbs.Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plantManufacturing plant has high level of noiseMust submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background checkDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:Excellent attendance and punctuality historyMake decisions based on experience and available dataRequire minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlinesStrives to meet or exceed job requirementsAbility to maintain a positive working relationship with customers and other employeesWillingness to learn
