Certified Nursing Assistant - Observation
Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or Director, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Observation unit#plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, skilled, and age-appropriate care to patients. Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the CNA ensures that every patient receives the highest level of support and attention. In collaboration with a Registered Nurse, the CNA will assist with a variety of patient-centered tasks, including: Providing hands-on patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity Monitoring and recording vital signs to track patient progress Assisting with daily activities of living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Performing basic clinical procedures as directed Observing and promptly reporting any changes in a patient#s condition to the supervising Nurse or Physician Documenting all interactions and care provided in the patient#s medical record # Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88 # Qualifications Education: Prefer#a high school diploma or GED. Experience: Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience. Specialized Training: Must successfully complete approved#Valleywise Health#computer classes. Certification/Licensure: Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Requires BLS card#obtained through an approved#American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire. Knowledge, Skills, and#Abilities: Bilingual is preferred. Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people. Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
