The ideal candidate will have relevant†̄development†̄experience,†̄understanding of†̄Identity & Access Management (IAM),strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex work activities in a deadline-driven environment. This is†̄a great opportunity†̄to work on mission-critical systems that provide clear value to end users and our federal government clients.SummaryIn collaboration with the Project Manager, Development Lead, and incumbent team members, the†̄Software Developerwill help to plan,†̄design, and prototype the implementation of†̄secure†̄user†̄authentication mechanisms for web-based applications.†̄The primary focus of this role is to deliver a robust MFA†̄solution†̄leveraging†̄industry available and a customer preferredidentity provider(IdP)solution.Required Education, Experience, and Skills:†̄Bachelorâ€TMs degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with five (5) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelorâ€TMs Degree with†̄seven†̄(7)†̄or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT†̄environment†̄Multi-yearproficiencyin application development withone or more languages: JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React, Angular), Java / Spring BootExperience withidentity and access managementandsingle sign-on, preferably withMicrosoftEntra IDProject experience developing and integrating†̄user†̄authentication workflow with†̄web-based applications, for exampleSpring security†̄†̄Excellent communication skills†̄(both verbal and written) plusactive†̄listening skills†̄to collaborate with a large cross functional teamSoftware delivery using the Agile Scrum or Kanban†̄methodology†̄via Jira†̄Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:Knowledge and implementation of MFA solutions, specificallyIdPâ€TMsAWS Cognito, Okta,†̄Microsoft Entra ID, and/or Login.gov†̄Knowledge and management of AWS GovCloud services,preferableCognito, Lambda, S3, EC2, and API Gateway†̄Experience with†̄DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds,containerized environments,and version control†̄using Jenkins or a similar toolUnderstanding of tokens, authentication andauthorization and best secure coding practices†̄Familiarity with implementing phishing-resistant MFA protocols, including PIV/CAC integration or authentication standards†̄Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs†̄Experience implementing password†̄policies and account recovery flows†̄AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect)†̄"Our estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
