We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.Qualifications:ABEM Eligible/Certified or FM/IM with ER experienceAuthorized to work in the United StatesScheduling:24 hours of physician coverage – 12-hour shifts20 hours of APP coverageKey Responsibilities:Provide coverage for Effingham Health System which is a 25 Bed critical access hospital with a 12-bed ED seeing roughly 23,000 visits annually.Manage all aspects of community emergency medicine, collaborating closely with colleagues and consultants.As a Level IV Trauma center with a community-focused environment, this site offers a manageable workflow and a slower-paced ED setting ideal for balanced, consistent shifts.Living and Working in Springfield:Experience the best of both worlds in Springfield, GA—a welcoming, family-oriented community just an hour from the vibrant coastal city of Savannah.
