Project Engineer II
Overview
As a Project Engineer, support the Project Manager with project administration, scheduling, submittals, and cost tracking to keep projects moving smoothly. You will coordinate communications with owners, GCs, and subcontractors, ensure quality control per contract and ISEC policies, and assist with change orders and vendor follow-ups. The role emphasizes practical problem-solving and proactive project control, with opportunities to influence schedules and delivery. This position fits within Operations, offering hands-on exposure to project execution and cross-functional collaboration.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and finalizing project scheduleManage submittal information and approvalsSupport subcontract administration, contracts, and change ordersCoordinate communications among owners, GCs, and subcontractorsEnsure quality control per contract documents and policiesSupport project closeout efficientlyResolve client issues and escalate when neededRecord project data in control systems with target datesReview job costs with Project ManagerManage shop drawings through review and field installationCoordinate material releases and deliveriesVisit jobsites and monitor progressMaintain shortage/breakage log and reorder materialPrepare operation and maintenance manuals and guaranteesAssist in monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logsPromote safety excellence and ensure deficiencies are correctedPlan and coordinate deliveries with safe practices
