Controller Location: Springfield, MO Reports to: CFO Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Arrow Audiology is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the accounting operations of our growing multi-location audiology clinic network. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting processes, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and support for strategic decision-making as we expand across new markets. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for leadership and stakeholders Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies to ensure GAAP compliance Manage multi-entity/multi-location accounting as the company scales to new clinic locations Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and reconciliations Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and consultants Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax filings and regulations Supervise and mentor accounting staff (AP/AR clerks, staff accountants, bookkeepers) Support annual budgeting and financial planning processes Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve reporting efficiency Partner with clinic operations leaders to provide financial insights supporting business decisions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred, not required) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role Proficiency in Sage accounting software required (Sage Intacct) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience managing multi-location or multi-entity financials (healthcare or medical practice experience a plus) Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting/BI tools a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical practice, or multi-site retail/service business accounting Experience with clinic billing systems, insurance reimbursement, or medical revenue cycle accounting Prior experience working in a startup, private equity backed, and/or high-growth environment What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunity to help build financial infrastructure for a growing healthcare company Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
