Combining clinical expertise with practical technology experience, it develops IT solutions that address challenges faced by government agencies and their customers across the healthcare delivery system.The organization supports federal healthcare programs by advancing technology innovation, operational efficiency, and service delivery.About the OpportunityThe Business Analyst supports the transition of the CMS Drug Data Processing System (DDPS) and related applications by coordinating knowledge transfer, asset management, onboarding, and operational readiness activities.This role helps ensure a smooth transition from the incumbent contractor by organizing critical documentation, coordinating knowledge-sharing activities, tracking readiness, and identifying risks that could affect operational continuity.Responsibilities• Coordinate knowledge-transfer sessions between outgoing and incoming teams to document and share critical operational information.• Maintain comprehensive inventories of system documentation, runbooks, data dictionaries, interface specifications, configuration baselines, application and interface inventories, and operational procedures.• Monitor onboarding and readiness activities, including background checks, system access, security training, and tool access.• Ensure timely completion of transition deliverables, including transition plans, knowledge materials, readiness assessments, and status reports.• Identify and escalate knowledge gaps, documentation issues, and access delays.• Maintain a transition-specific risk register and track mitigation activities.• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and QA teams to validate the accuracy and completeness of transferred knowledge.• Support transition governance through reporting, decision documentation, readiness assessments, and stakeholder communications.• Coordinate the transfer of program development artifacts, including source code, design documentation, and operational runbooks.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.• 6+ years of experience in IT transition management, knowledge management, or program coordination supporting federal IT contracts.• Proven experience managing knowledge transfer and transition documentation for federal operations and maintenance contract transitions.• Experience developing and maintaining transition inventories, onboarding trackers, and operational readiness documentation.• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple technical and non-technical workstreams.• Familiarity with document management and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, GitHub, and JIRA.• Strong written communication skills for customer-facing deliverables, reports, and documentation.• Ability to pass CMS and internal background checks required for public trust.Pay Range and Compensation Package• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
