Work Schedule5:30 pm - 10:30 pm for majority of performancesPosition Location:100% On-sitePay Rate$20/hourBenefits403(b) Retirement Plan; Complimentary tickets to select performances; Discounted meals at The BarnsContact Informationmarkm@wolftrap.orgDutiesNightly oversight of all FOH operationsEnsure all proper opening procedures are being followed and the bar is ready to open as scheduledManage nightly staffing assignments, ensure staff are properly trained on their assigned tasks, provide training to ensure staff can adequately complete their tasks.Ensure all proper closing procedures are being followed and the bar has been properly reset, stocked, cleaned, and sanitized for the next service dayPOS operation including taking orders and handling paymentsAssist with preparing and serving drinks as neededTurnover of the bar as needed to setup for special eventsOversight and verification of all opening banks and closing depositsCheck in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactoryResolve any customer service concerns/issuesCommunicate any food concerns/issues to the Chef and Kitchen staffAssist with opening, closing, and monthly inventory counts as assignedFollow all Fairfax County Health Department standards. Maintain the highest level of sanitation practices, safe food handling and storageRequirementsMust be at least 21 years oldPrevious management experience preferredMust be able to work weeknights and weekendExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work quickly and independentlyMust successfully complete a Virginia Alcohol Server Training, ServSafe Training or company approved equivalent course within 30 days of start date Physical RequirementsRegularly required to walk, stoop, bend and reach with armsLift/move up to 20 pounds frequentlyBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of timeUse hands and fingers to handle, feel, reach, cut, mix, etc.We’re pleased to consider applicants who will be physically located in and who will have a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia for the duration of their employment.
