Assure that equipment is being maintained safely. Minimizedowntime through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.**Essentialduties and responsibilities:**+ Follows all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations in both GMP and Non-GMP environments and work safety.+ Maintains, operates, and repairs HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, GMP equipment, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds for assigned building(s).+ Inspects building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, and process equipment to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.+ Performs assigned day-to-day repairs and emergency corrective and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records.+ Respond quickly to emergencies, summoning additional assistance as needed.+ Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.+ Safely operate a company vehicle and follow prescribed routines to service locations on time.+ Performs other duties as assigned.+ Additional duties as required.**SupervisoryResponsibilities:**+ No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.**Qualifications:**To performthis job successfully, an individual will be able to perform each dutysatisfactorily with the requirements listed below which are representative ofthe knowledge, skill, and ability required.+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.+ Valid driver's license required.+ Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair as well as CFC Certification.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.+ Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and an understanding of operating budgets. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.+ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.+ Use personal computer and/ or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.+ Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.+ Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedent.+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.+ Advanced math skills. The minimum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $105,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
