If you are a highly technical machinist looking for a stable, family-oriented home where you are encouraged to grow and promoted from within, this is the perfect opportunity.The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:Program and proof 1st article weldments using Motosim/Yaskawa controllers and Robotmaster offline programming softwareOptimize weld paths and cycle times to ensure repeatable, high-quality production of heavy-duty componentsIntegrate and troubleshoot robotic welding cells, providing the technical expertise required to resolve complex automation issuesPartner with the production team to transfer technical knowledge and implement best practices for robotic machine operationPerform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on robot-driven equipment to minimize downtimeMaintain rigorous quality standards, performing visual inspections to ensure 100% conformance to engineering specifications and welding symbolsCollaborate with management and vendors to stay up-to-date on technical manuals and ensure project coverageThe background of the successful candidate must include the following:3 or more years of hands-on robotic welding experience; a robot welding certification is strongly preferredTechnical Mastery: Proficiency with Yaskawa/YRC1000 controllers and experience with offline programming (Robotmaster or similar)Strong Welding Foundation: Deep understanding of MIG welding processes and the ability to pass an internal weld/inspection testAnalytical Problem Solver: Capability to take a new fixture and create a repeatable fabrication path from scratchReliability and Longevity: A stable work history is required (no pattern of changing jobs every two years); our client values long-term career partnersBeing a US citizen or Green Card holder
