Work includes reading blueprints, cutting, forming, welding, assembling and finishing metal components and structures.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret drawings, templates and work ordersSet up and operate MIG/TIG/Stick welders, plasma cutters, grinders and other shop equipmentFit, weld, grind and assemble structural steel, stainless and aluminum partsMeasure and layout parts to tight tolerances; perform quality checksMaintain safe, clean workspace and follow PPE and safety proceduresAssist with material handling and fabrication tasks as neededQualifications:3+ years welding/fabrication experience (or equivalent)Proficient in MIG, Stick and TIGAbility to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape, calipers, square)Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good teamworkValid NY driver's license; forklift experience a plusWelding certification (AWS or other) preferred but not requiredCompensation & Benefits:Pay: $20–$25/hr DOEOvertime pay, paid holidays, vacation/sick leaveRetirement plan (upon qualifying)Opportunities for training and advancementLarge indoor facility where all fabrication is completed, keeping you inside and out of the weather.Come join our small team and help support our local community.To Apply: Email resume and brief cover note to seth@metalmanservices.com or call 315-788-9226 and ask for Seth or Ken.
