Driver

Under the direct supervision of the Materials Analyst/Storeroom Manager and the Storeroom/Copy Center Supervisor and within established Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures, drives assigned vehicle for scheduled and unscheduled pickups and deliveries of various medical and non-medical supplies, equipment and materials. Also, performs various clerical and materials handling dutiesRequired Skills/Qualifications/Training/ExperienceGood driving skills; clerical accuracy; able to organize sizable workload; able to lift up to 50lbsCommand of verbal and written English, positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skillsPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/ExperiencePrevious storeroom and general clerical experience desirable but not requiredEducational RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentLicense/CertificationCurrent Massachusetts or Rhode Island driver’s license required.
