This is a technicalfield-support-focused roleideal for someone ready to move beyond repetitive machining and into a more dynamic, problem-solving career.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesPerform machine setup, installation, and commissioningProvide customer training on CNC equipment and controlsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and CNC-related issuesConduct machine demos (in-house and occasionally on-site)Support service calls and maintenance as neededWork with a variety of CNC machines rather than a single production jobWhat This Role Is (and isnt)A hands-on technical role with variety and problem-solvingA mix of shop work, customer interaction, and light travelIdeal for machinists who want to grow into a broader technical careerNOT a repetitive production machining positionNOT a sit-at-the-machine-all-day roleSkills & QualificationsCNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)Experience with Fanuc CNC controlsWorking knowledge of CAD/CAM softwareStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsElectrical troubleshooting abilityWillingness to travel occasionally (installations, service, trade shows)Experience servicing CNC equipment or multi-axis machining knowledge is a PLUSThis position is perfect for someone who wants to get off the production floor and use their machining knowledge in a more engaging, technical way.
