*Job Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Bug Bounty - Tester, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding our digital assets by identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the security and quality of our software applications. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute directly to maintaining our reputation for excellence in cybersecurity. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive security testing of web and mobile applications, including Android and iOS platforms, to identify vulnerabilities using tools like Selenium, Appium, and other automation frameworks. * Perform manual and automated testing of APIs, RESTful services, SOAP web services, and backend systems utilizing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and custom scripts. * Analyze test results to determine root causes of security flaws or functional issues through detailed debugging and data analysis skills. * Develop and execute test cases based on business requirements, technical specifications, and threat models to ensure thorough coverage of potential attack vectors. * Collaborate with development teams using version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or SVN to integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps. * Document defects accurately within defect tracking tools such as Jira or HP ALM, providing clear steps for reproduction and remediation suggestions. * Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in agile development cycles (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to test automation strategies, and performing regression testing during release cycles. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on security testing within IT environments. * Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Bash (Unix shell), or C# for automation purposes. * Hands-on experience with testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, LoadRunner, and TestNG for functional and performance testing. * Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks for Android and iOS applications using Appium or similar tools. * Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, XML/JSON data formats, and API testing methodologies. * Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB for data validation and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, release management processes, and version control systems like Git or TFS. * Ability to perform root cause analysis through debugging techniques and system troubleshooting across various operating systems including Windows and Linux. * Excellent analytical skills combined with attention to detail for designing effective test cases and performing user acceptance testing (UAT). * Strong communication skills to clearly document findings and collaborate effectively with technical teams on security improvements.
