Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute directly to maintaining our reputation for excellence in cybersecurity. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive security testing of web and mobile applications, including Android and iOS platforms, to identify vulnerabilities using tools like Selenium, Appium, and other automation frameworks. * Perform manual and automated testing of APIs, RESTful services, SOAP web services, and backend systems utilizing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and custom scripts. * Analyze test results to determine root causes of security flaws or functional issues through detailed debugging and data analysis skills. * Develop and execute test cases based on business requirements, technical specifications, and threat models to ensure thorough coverage of potential attack vectors. * Collaborate with development teams using version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or SVN to integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps. * Document defects accurately within defect tracking tools such as Jira or HP ALM, providing clear steps for reproduction and remediation suggestions. * Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in agile development cycles (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to test automation strategies, and performing regression testing during release cycles. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on security testing within IT environments. * Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Bash (Unix shell), or C# for automation purposes. * Hands-on experience with testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, LoadRunner, and TestNG for functional and performance testing. * Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks for Android and iOS applications using Appium or similar tools. * Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, XML/JSON data formats, and API testing methodologies. * Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB for data validation and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, release management processes, and version control systems like Git or TFS. * Ability to perform root cause analysis through debugging techniques and system troubleshooting across various operating systems including Windows and Linux. * Excellent analytical skills combined with attention to detail for designing effective test cases and performing user acceptance testing (UAT). * Strong communication skills to clearly document findings and collaborate effectively with technical teams on security improvements.
