System Administrator Level 2 (MSP) Location: New York, NY Schedule: Hybrid Remote, approximately 70% WFH Salary: $70,000 – $80,000OverviewWe are a process-driven Managed Services Provider hiring a System Administrator Level 2 to support escalations, client onboarding, cloud migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.This role is ideal for someone with MSP experience who has moved beyond basic help desk support and wants more ownership across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, endpoint security, backups, and cloud environments. You will troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, document clearly, and help implement long-term fixes instead of short-term workarounds.ResponsibilitiesResolve advanced Level 2 escalations across multiple client environmentsSupport Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and user access issuesTroubleshoot Windows 10/11, Windows Server, endpoint, application, and connectivity issuesSupport networking issues involving firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi, DNS, and DHCPAssist with client onboarding, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and system improvement projectsTroubleshoot endpoint security, backup, and business continuity issuesPerform root cause analysis and help implement permanent technical fixesMaintain accurate documentation for client environments, configurations, and resolutionsCommunicate directly with clients and provide polished, professional technical supportRequired ExperienceExperience working for a Managed Service Provider3+ years of IT support, escalation support, or systems administration experienceStrong Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting experienceExperience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra IDWorking knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, permissions, and user administrationNetworking experience with firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshootingExposure to endpoint security, backups, business continuity, or cloud migration workStrong documentation habits and ability to troubleshoot to root causeStrong client-facing communication skillsBenefits$70,000 – $80,000 salaryHybrid remote schedule, approximately 70% WFHHealth, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement PlanEquipment and Training AllowanceCertification Reimbursement
