Job Titles: - Electronic/Digital EngineeringLocation: Addison, Tx Work Type: Onsite - 100%Salary: $75k USD - $90K USD Key Responsibilities:Conduct HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) on avionics and aerospace electronic products to identify design weaknesses and improve product reliability.Perform environmental qualification testing in accordance with RTCA DO-160 requirements.Operate and maintain environmental test equipment including:Thermal ChambersTemperature-Humidity ChambersThermal Shock ChambersAltitude ChambersVibration Systems/ShakersDevelop and execute environmental test procedures and test plans.Configure and perform LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) functional and environmental testing.Monitor test parameters, collect data, and analyze results during qualification testing.Troubleshoot test setup issues and support failure investigations.Generate test reports, discrepancy reports, and qualification documentation.Coordinate with Design, Systems, Hardware, Software, and Certification teams.Support FAA, EASA, and military qualification programs as required.Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.Maintain calibration and traceability records for test equipment.Required Qualifications:Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.5+ years of experience in aerospace, avionics, defence, or electronics environmental testing.Hands-on experience with:HALT TestingEnvironmental Chamber TestingTemperature CyclingThermal Shock TestingHumidity TestingAltitude TestingVibration TestingStrong knowledge of RTCA DO-160 environmental qualification requirements.Experience performing LRU validation and qualification testing.Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures.Experience using data acquisition systems and test instrumentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and report generation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting Tier 1 OEMs, or military aerospace programs.Familiarity with:MIL-STD-810MIL-STD-461ARP4754ARP4761Experience with environmental stress screening (ESS) and reliability growth testing.Knowledge of avionics communication protocols and embedded electronics.Technical Skills:Environmental ChambersHALT/HASS TestingDO-160 Qualification TestingThermal CyclingHumidity TestingAltitude TestingVibration & Shock TestingData Acquisition SystemsOscilloscopesDigital MultimetersFunctional Test EquipmentLRU Integration & TestingRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)Test Report GenerationDesired Soft Skills:Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Excellent documentation and communication abilities.Ability to work independently in laboratory environments.Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
